Hello, my name is Jeff K.

  • I'm a responsible, brave, worthy, joyful leader

  • I'm a millennial that's taking charge of my own world

  • I'm fuelled by international travel, progressive activism, and my career in IT

About me

My name is Jeff Kloythanomsup and I’m a native Californian. I hold a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University, and have done PG studies in Global Justice at The University of Sheffield. I currently reside in Washington, DC, USA, and am open to remote opportunities.

I would consider myself a “computer nerd”, an activist, a dog lover, and a seasoned traveller. I have been working with computers since an early age and have developed very extensive skills in Windows and Linux. When away from the computer, I enjoy travelling both domestically and internationally, and have been to 35 countries so far. Another interest of mine is progressive activism, as I am inspired by the topics of: anti-repression, anti-racism, feminism, socialism, drug reform, and migration reform. On the streets, I have livestreamed various protests & rallies, from Oakland, to Occupy Wall Street in NYC, to London. I also enjoy exploring the urban landscape, eating out, camping, and hiking.

I have undertaken courses in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js. I’d love to acquire more skills in the DevOps/SRE realm, and one day, successfully launch my own tech company.
